Bomb Bay Shrimp

 

 

Ingredients:

1 lb Large Side-Stripe Shrimp

1 tbsp. butter

1 tbsp. olive oil

2 shallots- finely chopped

2 green onions- finely chopped

1 tbsp. pickled ginger- finely chopped

¼ cup gin

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Heat butter and olive oil  in a large frying pan on medium high heat.

Add shallots, green onions, pickled ginger and shrimp all at once. Sauté for 1-2  minutes stirring frequently.  Add ¼ cup gin and carefully ignite with a match.  Add salt and pepper to taste. I thought this would serve 3-4, but two of us devoured the entire one pound. Awesome! A crusty bread is a must. Enjoy!
